What is Dance Therapy D T?
It is a powerful tool that helps you enjoy yourself and keep stress under control.
As a psychologist, I have seen firsthand how movement can be a pathway to Well-being.
This session is designed for you to focus on the satisfaction produced by enjoying music and movement, allowing you to shift your focus toward the positive.
It is a healthy practice because:

How are the Dance Therapy sessions?

-
They usually last between one and/or two hours; designed so you feel comfortable and in sync with your body.

We begin with relaxation exercises and stretching to prepare your body and mind.

Then, we immerse ourselves in the music.
-
Previously, I prepare a special musical selection, using DJ techniques, so you feel free to dance without worries. Here there is no judgment, only support and an environment full of good energy.

At the beginning or at the end, depending on the time, we reflect on the consequences of stress and I give you tools to manage and reduce it.
Theater
Theater is also present in this space; it is another Therapeutic artistic manifestation that I have been able to verify, not only on stage but also through role-playing in the Human Management training/workshops I conduct.

About me

I am Ingrith Velez, a Psychologist with almost two decades of experience in the field of Human Management; my professional path has given me a deep understanding of the mind and the dynamics that influence us. I have seen firsthand the impact of stress and the fast pace on people's mental and physical health. This experience led me to seek tools beyond traditional psychology.
I was born in Barranquilla, daughter of the clown/magician and carpenter Bigotico; I carry dance and art in my blood. Therefore, by integrating dance and music into my corporate workshops, I discovered a powerful way for liberation and well-being.
My training and my passion come together to offer a space where movement becomes a therapeutic tool. My mission is to guide you toward sustainable well-being, reminding you that the key is not in perfection, but in authenticity.
In my Dance Therapy sessions, there are no choreographies or judgments, only a safe and supportive environment where you can reconnect with your body and your inner self; through music and movement, I accompany you to find your own rhythm, to release tension and to celebrate the joy of being yourself.
This holistic approach allows me to help you feel better and expand your awareness, honoring your story and cultivating a life more aligned with your truth.
